Educational Activities
The lab has a strong focus on educational material development using state-of-the-art information systems. We develop resources for both teachers and students and help them learn about science and scientific research by providing research data sets and results through innovative, inquiry based access tools. The lab’s educational activities are group under the ‘DISCOVER OUR EARTH’ project.
The lab is also involved in scientific outreach and helps running special workshops such as the Cyberinfrastructure Summer Institute series for the geoscience community. Information about the summer institutes are available at http://www.geongrid.org/CSIG06/
