Visualization
Visualization is an integral part of the Earth science research and education. Most Earth science data sets are spatially oriented and some require mapping and innovative visualization. In our lab we focus on scientific visualization of spatial data sets. We utilize both commercial and opens-source software. The lab also works with temporal data sets and visualizes time variant data. We also collaborate with advanced visualization centers such as the Synthesis Center at SDSC and Cal-IT2.
